The Daytona Beach International Festival (DBIF) presents the biennial festival featuring the London Symphony Orchestra, slated for April 17 to May 2, 2009. Previously known as the Florida International Festival, the 2009 Festival will bear the organization's new name - Daytona Beach International Festival. In addition to the Festival, DBIF maintains a strong and permanent presence as a concert presenter and event promoter through the year, bringing world-class concerts and special events to showcase the finest artists in classical, jazz, folk, country and world music. The non-profit organization is proud to offer education and outreach opportunities to Daytona Beach residents at various times throughout the year. The new DBIF was formed with unprecedented support from the City of Daytona Beach, Volusia County, the Daytona Beach Racing & Recreational District, and with continued support from the private sector, to embark on an ambitious plan to take the Festival to even greater heights.
