THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR FIRST SEASON A SUCCESS!

We offer our sincere thanks to the thousands of residents and visitors who attended concerts during the 2007-2008 Season of the Daytona Beach International Festival (DBIF).  With near 10,000 attendees to 11 memorable concert events and participants to various education & outreach programs, the inaugural DBIF season was a tremendous success.

Attracting music lovers throughout Central Florida, each dazzling performance featured dynamic and tremendously talented artists from around the world.  From Celtic to classical, and bluegrass flash to Irish brass, the Season showcased something special for a wide variety of musical tastes.  Artists such as Natalie MacMaster, the Irish Rovers, and violin virtuoso Itzhak Perlman performed before sold-out audiences, drawing rave reviews from critics and fans alike.

The Daytona Beach International Festival's mission is 'To enhance demand for diverse, artistically brilliant live music performances in the Daytona Beach, Florida Region'. DBIF presents the biennial festival featuring the London Symphony Orchestra, slated for April 17 to May 2, 2009. Previously known as the Florida International Festival, the 2009 Festival will bear the organization's new name - Daytona Beach International Festival, Inc. The new DBIF was formed, with unprecedented support from the City of Daytona Beach, Volusia County, the Daytona Beach Racing & Recreational District, and with continued support from the private sector, to embark on an ambitious plan to take the Festival to even greater heights.
