Celebrate St. Patrick's day with a special concert by Natalie MacMaster on Saturday, March 15 at the News-Journal Center.Starting at 7:30 p.m., her boundless energy and rhythmic intensity will keep you moving through the entire 'MacMasterful' performance.

 

Since her first album release at age 16, Natalie MacMaster has distinguished herself through her feverish fiddling and mesmerizing step dancing.Credited with taking Celtic music to new heights, MacMaster has performed on a number of national stages, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, ABC's 2002 New Year's Eve Special and Good Morning America.

The Daytona Beach International Festival's mission is 'To enhance demand for diverse, artistically brilliant live music performances in the Daytona Beach, Florida Region'. DBIF presents the biennial festival featuring the London Symphony Orchestra, slated for April 17 to May 2, 2009. Previously known as the Florida International Festival, the 2009 Festival will bear the organization's new name - Daytona Beach International Festival, Inc. The new DBIF was formed, with unprecedented support from the City of Daytona Beach, Volusia County, the Daytona Beach Racing & Recreational District, and with continued support from the private sector, to embark on an ambitious plan to take the Festival to even greater heights.
